American Structurepoint CEO Awarded Prestigious Purdue Engineering Award

On February 20, 2015, Rick Conner was presented with the 2015 Purdue University College of Engineering Distinguished Engineering Alumni Award. This award was presented to eight individuals who have distinguished themselves in ways that “reflect favorably on Purdue University, the engineering profession, or society in general,” according to Purdue University’s website.

“I’m humbled that I was selected among the best and brightest in the industry,” said Conner. “No one wins an award like this by themselves—I credit my family, the people who make up this company, and the Purdue faculty.”

The award was hosted at the Purdue Memorial Union on Friday, February 20. To be eligible for this award, the recipient must have previously received their school’s alumni award. Conner was a recipient of the 2007 Purdue University School of Civil Engineering Alumni Achievement Award.
