American Structurepoint Begins Design Development for BlueSky

Back in January, American Structurepoint’s Architecture + Interiors Group worked with the BlueSky team in a collaborative visioning session with 30 participants to help the high-tech company define a vision for its company, culture, and brand. Since the visioning session, BlueSky has committed to American Structurepoint and Meyer Najem for the design construction of a new 40,000-sft headquarters. The new corporate headquarters will be located in downtown Noblesville, Indiana, within the newly formed Federal Hill District. Design development for this project has begun with an expected completion date of fall 2016.

American Structurepoint Moves Forward with Hamilton County Government Center Addition

Option 03 - Bridge - FINAL

American Structurepoint has received notice to proceed with programming/concept design on the Hamilton County Government Center Addition. This project will include renovation of Hamilton County’s existing courthouse facilities as well as programming and design for an expansion in the area west of the existing courthouse and the river.

CANstruction at Indiana State Fair

On Friday, August 7, American Structurepoint teamed with Pepper Construction for the CANstruction Build Day at the Indiana State Fair. The theme for this year’s competition between engineers and architects was “The Year of the Farmer. American Structurepoint’s Architecture + Interiors Group designed a Wall-E themed exhibit that was displayed from August 7th to 23rd. After the fair ended, all of the CANstruction exhibits were taken down and the cans of food donated to Gleaners Food Bank.

Construction to Begin on Eagledale Senior Apartments

American Structurepoint’s Architecture + Interiors Group is leading the design for the adaptive reuse, renovation, and expansion of the existing Flackville School 100 Building in Indianapolis into a beautiful new senior apartment complex. Architecture, Investigative, and Civil Groups have completed 100 percent of the construction documents for the Eagledale Senior Apartments and are currently going through historical reviews with the City. The new building will house 65 senior apartment units with approximately 30 units in the new addition and 35 units in the existing and newly renovated portion of the building. Construction is slated to begin by September 2015 and be completed by summer 2016.

BlueSky Office Headquarters Design Underway

American Structurepoint’s Architecture + Interiors Group began this project by working with the BlueSky team in a collaborative visioning session that included 30 participants. During this visioning session, our team used a variety of words, songs, and images to help the high-tech company define a vision for its company, culture, and brand. The data gleaned from this intensive work session was used to set the design team on the right path to achieving BlueSky’s workspace goals during programming and design for their new corporate headquarters. American Structurepoint’s services include project management, architecture, interiors, structural engineering, and civil engineering, as well as site selection support services.

New, State-of-the-Art Police Station for Michigan City

Michigan City Mayor, Ron Meer, announced on February 27 that construction will begin soon on a new police station for the city. This new facility will replace the current, over 50-year old station. American Structurepoint designed the new facility to accommodate their growing city and police department. Lead Designer Brandon Hoopingarner said, “The new facility was designed to provide the best security possible while also realizing that the facility sits in close proximity to many residential areas. The facility was built with sustainability in mind.”

The city hopes to begin building as soon as June of this year with plans to complete construction by Fall of 2016. Stay tuned for updates on this exciting news for Michigan City!

American Structurepoint Architects Design Award-Winning Office Building

On February 26, the Indiana chapter of NAIOP held its seventh annual real estate award ceremony at the Conrad in Indianapolis. American Structurepoint and Meyer Najem were recognized for the Best Office Building Project of 2014. This new and innovative space in Fishers generates creativity and collaboration amongst employees and defines this next generation work space. This light-filled, sustainably designed building, with its dynamic two story atrium, open office studio, and modern exterior was designed and built in once calendar year.

Meyer Najem Hosts Ribbon Cutting for new HQ

Purdue University Research Environment Completed

Last month, the Purdue University Research Environment was completed providing a collaborative, versatile workspace for both students and faculty. The space includes walls with glass-marker boards for collaborative discussions, 11 work stations, a 10-person conference room, mobile tables for ease of reconfiguring, and a kitchenette.
