Big Changes to our Executive Sales Leadership Team

As mentioned in the company briefing, we experienced growth across the board last year. To support this growth, there are some changes to our Executive Sales Leadership Team.

  • Kent Moore has been promoted to National Sales Executive. In this role, he will focus on the development of opportunities from a national perspective which is of critical importance as we continue our growth toward “2X.”
  • Mike McBride has been promoted to Vice President of Indiana Sales. In this role, Mike will be responsible for overall leadership, development and growth of our Indiana Sales operation.
  • Craig Parks has been promoted to Vice President. In this role, Craig will be responsible for executive leadership of project pursuits and development of executive relationships with our client executives.

Craig Parks Serves on Roundabout Panel for ITE Annual Meeting

The Institute for Transportation Engineers (ITE) hosted its annual meeting in Seattle, Washington from August 10-13. This year’s program offered a variety of hands-on learning opportunities through issues forums, roundtables, and workshops. Some of the industry’s leaders, including Craig Parks, served as speakers or panelists to share insights on key topics including roundabouts, bicycle facilities, signals, mobility, and operations. Mike McBride and Hardik Shah also attended the meeting.

Best practices for roundabouts on state highways study completed

An American Structurepoint project was used as a major source of data for a new research study at Purdue. Best Practices for Roundabouts on State Highways (SPR-3530) has been published in the Joint Transportation Research Program (JTRP) series, after researching the roundabout at 106th Street and Springmill Road. Several American Structurepoint employees also assisted with the research for this project, including Craig Parks, who served on the research SAC committee.

The JTRP series is incorporated in the Purdue Library Digital Commons collections, and usage statistics are tracked via Google Analytics. Click here to see the report.

Parks on ‘Think Tank’ Panel for Innovation in Infrastructure Development

Craig Parks (Transportation), project development director at American Structurepoint, will participate in one of several panel sessions at the invitation-only symposium, “Making the Grade: New Ideas for Innovation in Infrastructure Development,” to be held at the New York Yacht Club in New York City. Sponsored by Autodesk and the Environmental Financial Consulting Group, the purpose of the think tank event with various infrastructure leaders is to produce recommendations for improving how infrastructure should be planned, designed, built, and financed in order to support US economic competiveness and environmental sustainability. The event is an Indiana tradition that intertwines federal, state, and local agency personnel; elected officials; university faculty; and consultants into one action-packed program. This year’s event took place March 5 to 7, and drew roughly 2,500 attendees to Purdue University. American Structurepoint was recognized as a major sponsor, and our exhibit booth allowed our Business Development Group to meet and greet attendees, while showcasing our most innovative projects.
